DHAKA, Dec 20, 2018 (BSS) – The Indian government has appointed Riva Ganguly Das as the new High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh.
“Ms Riva Ganguly Das, presently Director General, ICCR has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh,” Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of Indian’s official website said today.
According to the website, Das is expected to take up the new assignment shortly.
Das will be succeeding Harsh Vardhan Shringla who has been appointed as the new Ambassador of India to the United States of America.
