Shajahan and Golap seek vote for boat
MADARIPUR, Dec 20, 2018 (BSS) – Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan and Central
Awami league (AL) Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap together sought
votes for the ‘boat’, the electoral symbol of AL, at Madra Bazar under Jhaudi
union in Madaripur Sadar upazila yesterday.
Shahjahan and Golap sought votes for Madaripur 2 and 3 constituencies
respectively for contesting in the next 11th parliamentary election at a poll
rally where thousands of people were present.
If BNP is voted to power again, they will form a country of militants, they
said.
During the campaign, the two heavy weight candidates said people should
cast their votes for Sheikh Hasina to win the upcoming polls to continue the
pace of development of the country.
District AL Vice President Syed Abul Bashar, Sadar Upazila AL President
Shakhawat Hossain Selim, Jhaudi Union Chairman Sirajul Islam, among others,
were present on the occasion.
