Nihad Kabir reelected MCCI president
DHAKA, Dec 20, 2018 (BSS) – Nihad Kabir, a senior partner of the Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed and Associates, has been reelected president of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) for 2019.
Members of the chamber’s committee unanimously re-elected her as the president at its recent meeting, said a press release here today.
The re-election was confirmed today at the 114th annual general meeting of the MCCI.
Golam Mainuddin, chairman of British American Tobacco Bangladesh, has been reelected as vice-president, the chamber said in a statement.
Nihad Kabir is an advocate of the Supreme Court and a director and a shareholder of Kedarpur Tea Co Ltd and the Daily Sangbad.
