Film artistes seek vote for ‘boat’ to continue development
CHAUDDAGRAM, Cumilla, Dec 19, 2018 (BSS) – Film artistes today urged the people to cast their votes for boat for the continuation of the country’s ongoing development spree.
They made the call while conducting election campaigns on behalf of Railways Minister Md Mujibul Haque at Chandsree Government Primary School area of Ujirpur union of the upazila, said a press release.
Led by Publicity and Publications Secretary of Awami League (AL) Sub-Committee Aminul Islam, film actors Saimon Sadi and Shakil Khan, actor and model Siam, news presenter Ishika Aziz and actresses Aruna Biswas, Rokeya Prachy and Jyotika Jyoti joined the election campaigns, among others.
They said the country has advanced a lot and this is the contribution of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. So, you (people) should vote for the AL’s candidate in this constituency Md Mujibul Haque for continuation of the development pace, they added.
Earlier, the railways minister addressed different street rallies at Chaklaxmipur Government Primary School, Shiber Bazar Government Primary School and Chandsree Government Primary School areas of Ujirpur union in the upazila.
Addressing a rally, Mujibul Haque said now the Jamaat candidates have come with BNP’s election symbol to seek votes.
They change their color again and again, he said, adding, “AL never breaches its commitment and changes color”.
Chauddagram upazila Chairman and upazila unit AL President Abdus Subhan Bhuiyan Hasan, Chauddagram Pourasabha Mayor Mizanur Rahman, District Council Member Faruk Ahammed and upazila Vice-Chairman ABMA Hahar addressed the streets rallies, among others.
