Trial of war criminals in BNP’s manifesto joke of the year: Quader
CUMILLA, Dec 18, 2018 (BSS) – Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul
Quader today said BNP and Jatiya Oikyafront’s election manifesto, which
pledged to bring war criminals to justice, is the best joke of the year.
Quader, also general secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, said the
manifestos of BNP and Oikyafront are the same which have no logic.
He came up with the observations while talking to newsmen during a stopover
at a hotel on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway under Chouddagram upazila here on
his way to Noakhali this afternoon.
“BNP has become desperate to go back to power to plunder country’s
resources and do corruption. They are making complaints to their foreign
masters, without going to people,” Quader said.
Chouddagram upzila Awami League leader Md Mosharraf Hossain, union parishad
chairman Md Mahbubur Rahman, district Awami League leader Nurur Rahman Tanim
and Jahangir Alam, among others, were present.
