Kamal cheats nation joining pools with Jamaat: Hanif
KUSHTIA, Dec 17, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary
Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif today said Jatiya Oikyafront Convener Dr Kamal Hossain
has cheated the nation as his alliance and anti-liberation force Jamaat are
taking part in the upcoming general election with the same election symbol.
“Dr Kamal Hossain has cheated the nation by joining the polls along with
anti-liberation force Jamaat. He is identified as a traitor to the nation.
There is nothing to say about him,” he said while addressing a rally at
Karimpur in the sadar upazila here.
Hanif said Kamal has to clarify to the nation where he found the rule
that terrorists and persons involved in carrying out sabotages could not be
arrested after the announcement of polls schedule.
He urged the law enforcement agencies to take necessary steps against
those who are involved in carrying out violent acts.
Kushtia district unit AL general secretary Azgar Ali, organizing
secretary Sheikh Hasan Mehedi and sadar upazila unit AL general secretary
Akhtaruzzaman Biswas were present on the occasion, among others.
