ACC chairman for procedural reform to stop corruption

DHAKA, Dec 17, 2018 (BSS) – Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal
Mahmood today stressed the need for procedural changes in education, health
and moral sides to stop corruption.

“Let us make procedural changes in education, health and moral aspects
aimed at stopping corruption for the sake of the young generation,” he said
in a discussion marking the Victory Day at its Segunbagicha headquarters.

Showing respect to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman
and all the martyred, he also said, “It will be a serious disrespect to the
martyred if we get ourselves involved in corruption.” “It is a must to stop
corruption to ensure continuation of the economic development,” he added.

Speaking on the occasion, ACC Commissioner Dr Mozammel Haque requested all
take tougher stance against corruption to build a prosperous country.

Another ACC Commissioner AFM Aminul Islam urged all to utilize the spirit
of the Liberation War in their own workplaces.
