Left leaning parties announce election manifestoes
DHAKA, Dec 12, 2018 (BSS) – The Left Democratic Alliance (LDA), an alliance of eight left leaning parties, today announced election manifesto by introducing ‘no’ vote provision in the electoral process in the country.
LDA Coordinator and Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB)’s General Secretary Mohammad Shah Alam announced the 32-points election manifesto at Mukti Bhaban here.
The 32-points including introducing ‘no’ vote provision in electoral process, democratic decentralization and empowerment of local government, massive review of electoral process, suspension of foreign aid or credit which is harmful for the growth of local industries, launching round the year ’employment generation ensure scheme’ across the country and zero tolerance against bribe, corruption and plundering.
CPB President Muzahidul Islam Selim, Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BaSaD) leader Bazlur Rashid Firoz, Bangladesher Biplobi Workers Party General Secretary Saiful Haq, United Communist League General Secretary Mosharraf Hossen Nannu, Ganotantrik Biplobi Party General Secretary Moshrefa Mishu, Bangladesher Samyabadi Dal (Marksbadi-Leninbadi) leader Manosh Nandi, Ganosanghati Andolon central leader Feroz Ahmed and CPB Secretary Ruhin Hossen Prince, among others, were attended.
