DMP-INTELLECTUALS-DAY
DMP requests all vehicles to avoid Mazar Road on Dec 14
DHAKA, Dec 12, 2018 (BSS) – Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has requested
all the vehicles including bus, truck, Human Hawler, three-wheeler, rickshaw
and rickshaw-van to avoid the Mirpur Mazar road (from Mazar road crossing to
Mirpur-1 crossing) from 6am to 9.30 am on December 14, the Martyred
Intellectuals Day, said a DMP release here today.
The DMP issued this order as the President M Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina and other leaders of different organizations will move to the
Mirpur Shaheed Intellectual Martyrdom on December 14.
During this time, the vehicles coming from Ashulia to Mirpur through
Beribadh will take left turn from Nababerbagh crossing and use Shah Ali Thana
road.
The vehicles that will move close to the area of the Shah Ali Shrine
through the Mazar road crossing will have to go left Darus Salam road from
Technical Intersection.
The vehicles from Mirpur-10 can go to Gabtoli via Mirpur-1, Darus Salam
Road and Technical crossing.
DMP has sought maximum cooperation from the people in order to avoid
traffic congestion and maintaining discipline in traffic movement during the
Martyrs Intellectuals Day’s programme.
