ACC finds irregularities over Ideal School’s lottery

DHAKA, Dec 10, 2018 (BSS) – The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today
allegedly found irregularities in holding lottery regarding admission to
class one in the city’s Ideal School and College.

An enforcement team of the commission conducted a daylong raid at the
school following receipt of allegation of irregularities relating to lottery
for getting admission in the school, an official release said.

The team asked the school authorities to write down the lottery result with
ball point pen instead of pencil. The school is set to admit 840 students in
class one at its Motijheel, Banosree and Mugda branches, this year.

Lottery in six categories was held from 9am to 4.30pm today while lottery
in four more categories will be held tomorrow.

It also asked authorities of Motijheel School and College to publish the
waiting list.
