District Law and order committee meeting held
NARSINGDI Dec 10, 2018 (BSS) – The monthly law and order committee
meeting of District Administration was held at Deputy Commissioner’s
conference room yesterday.
Additional Secretary Mohammad Salim Reza addressed the meeting as chief
guest with Deputy Commissioner of Narsingdi Seyada Farhana Kawnine in the
chair.
The meeting discussed in detail the prevailing law and order situation
in the district and also discussed the issues on the upcoming general
election for holding free and fair.
Mohammad Salim Reza said the government is very conscious to maintain the
law and order in the country. Pointing to the upcoming general election he
urged the officials to discharge their duties with honesty and sincerity.
Police Super Miraj Ahmed, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rev) Shaiful
Islam, Chairman of Raipura upazila Mijanur Rahman Chowdhury, Chairman of
Belabo upazila Ahsan Habib Biplob, Executive Enginner Roads and Highways M
Moniruzzaman, Executive Engineer LGED Mohammad Raihan Siddike, General
Manager Polli Bidut, Narsingdi Mohammad Yousuf, President of Narsingdi
Chamber and commerce Abdullah Al Mamun, General Secretary, Shibpur upazila
Awami League Shamsul Alam Rakhil, District Election officer Masbah Uddin, and
Deputy Director Islamic Foundation Mohiuddin Ahmed among others addressed in
the meeting.
Additional District Magistrate Shusoma Sultana conducted the meeting.
