ISHWARDI, Jan 2, 2018 (BSS) – Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif today said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had a plan to nationalize all the educational institutions gradually throughout the country.
“Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman announced to nationalizs all the primary schools across the country after the Independence,” said the minister while inaugurating textbook distribution programme at Basherbada Bahumukhi High School at Ishwardin upazila, Pabna.
Then Bangabandhu also declared that all the educational institutions would be nationalized gradually, Sharif said.
The minister distributed about 2,5000 books among 2,200 students of the upazila at the event.
Sharif said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was working restlessly for implementation of the pledges announced by Bangabandhu. He also urged all people to work unitedly under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for building Sonar Bangla dreamt by Father of the Nation.
The government is distributing 35 crore 46 lakh textbooks among the students across the country.
