7 arrested over using electronic device in exams
DHAKA, Dec 08, 2018 (BSS) – Police in separate raids arrested seven
members of an organized gang on charges of using electronic devices in
different public examinations from the city’s Sidheshawri, Mirpur and
Kalabagan.
“We arrested seven persons, Sohel Rana, Rabiul Awal, Mahmudul, Ansarul
Islam, Sree Debasish, Raziur Rahman and Rezaul Karim from the city’s
Sidheshawri, Mirpur and Kalabagan for using electronic devices in different
public exams,” said a detective branch (DB) official.
They recovered eight devices used in sending question papers, 29
batteries, three pen drives, nine bluetooth devices, nine SIM cards of
various mobile operators and eight mobile phones from his possessions, he
also said.
A case was lodged with Ramna Police Station to this end.
