League to become united and work hard for re-electing the party in the
upcoming general elections to continue the ongoing development speed.

They sought vote for ‘Boat’, the election symbol of Awami League, saying
re-election of the party is very much needed to build a hunger and poverty-
free Bangladesh.

workers marking the forthcoming national election at Hotel Anjum in the city.

Liton, city unit president of Bangladesh Awami League, says Bangladesh has
already fulfilled eligibility criteria to upgrade to a developing country
from the least developed one He told the meeting that the people witnessed
massive development after voting for boat. On the contrary, when BNP comes to
power, they destroy the country.

“Sheikh Hasina’s government is the government of development. All the
sectors in the country have seen huge development and that’s why we have to
bring this government back to power to keep the trend of progress going,”
Liton said.

Liton urged the people to be united for resisting all evil forces
conspiring against AL government in the upcoming election. He said, “A group
of evil forces in the country is united to retard the development works of
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and AL government.”

always improved whenever Awami League was in power. People of every section
