DHAKA, Jan 02, 2018 (BSS) – State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak yesterday said disability is not any obstruction anymore, but a challenge.

“Differently abled just need specialized training and support from person, family and state. With these, they can change the whole world for good and can become exemplary personality. The present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is committed to provide assistance to them,” he said.

The state minister came up with the observations while addressing the inauguration ceremony of a job fair for differently abled people organized by Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) yesterday morning.

Palak said the present government is working relentlessly to develop the life standard and ensure respectable employment of the differently abled people.

“We are using the spirit of Digital Bangladesh as a tool to create an inclusive society under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and under the supervision of her ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy. We believe disability is not unbeatable. They too can change the world with a little help,” the state minister added.

Palak added that government through a project is going to provide specialized training to three thousand differently abled people in next three years.

A communication app named “Kotha Bolte Chai (Want to talk)” for differently abled people was inaugurated at the function.
