DNCC conducts eviction drive in capital
DHAKA, Dec 6, 2018 (BSS) – Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) today conducted illegal establishment eviction drive in city’s Taltola and Agargaon areas.
Executive Magistrate of Dhaka North City Corporation M Sajid Anwar led the eviction drive from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
During the drive, the city corporation eviction team recovered about 20,000 square feet area by removing illegal 120 semi-paka tin-shed shops and nurseries.
“The DNCC will continue its eviction drives against the encroachers who illegally build structures on streets and footpaths,” said the DNCC Executive Magistrate.
Among others, DNCC’s regional executive officer Gullal Singh was present during the drive.
