Jamaat leader held in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Dec 4, 2018 (BSS) – Chattogram Metropolitan Police arrested a
leader of Jamaat-e-Islami from Mojadia Madrasa gate area in the city on
charge of plotting subversive acts today.
The detainee was identified Bkalia thana Jamaat-e-Islami ward level leader
Shafiqul Islam, 50.
The Jamaat leader Shafiqul Islam along with some others were holding a
secret meeting around 9 am to commit subversive activities in Rahatarpool
area, said Pranab Chowdhury, officer-in-charge of Bakalia thana .
