ARREST-FACEBOOK-RUMOUR
One held for tarnishing police image using FB
DHAKA, Dec 3, 2018 (BSS) – Police arrested a youth on charges of
conducting propaganda on the facebook using pictures of women police
personnel aimed at tarnishing image of the police force.
“We arrested one Uzzal Barua, 25, from his residence at Fatikchhari in
Chittagong district around 2.30 pm on Sunday,” an official of Counter
Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC).
CTTC personnel also recovered one computer hard disk and Gt-N7100 model
of Samsung Galaxy mobile phone set from his possession, he also said.
The arrestee was found guilty in posting on facebook false,
objectionable and defaming news using pictures of women police through the
