EC declares Maya Chowdhury’s nomination legal
DHAKA, Dec 2, 2018 (BSS) – The Election Commission (EC) today declared
legal nomination of Relief and Disaster Management Minister Mofazzal Hossain
Chowdhury Maya, Beer Bikram.
Chandpur District Returning Officer and its Deputy Commissioner (DC)
declared legal the nomination paper of Maya Chowdhury for Chandpur-2 (Matlab
Uttar-Dakhhin) constituency after scrutinizing the necessary papers, said a
press release.
Maya Chowdhury is going to take part in the national polls for six times
with the Awami League (AL) election symbol ‘Boat’, the release added.
