Seminar on trade, investment held in India’s Aurangabad

DHAKA, Dec 1, 2018 (BSS) – A seminar titled ‘Bangladesh: an Attractive Business Destination and Potentials for Growth in India-Bangladesh Trade and Investment’ was held at a local hotel at Aurangabad city in Maharashtra state, India, on Friday.

Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Mumbai organized the seminar while Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Syed Muazzem Ali addressed it as the chief guest, according to a message received here today.

Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) President Sri Ramchandra Bhogale presided over the seminar that was attended by more than 100 representatives of CMIA and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner in Mumbai Md Lutfar Rahman presented a keynote paper on the recent progress of Bangladesh’s socio-economic development in the seminar.

He described the present status of Bangladesh-India bilateral trade and investment and suggested different ways for increasing the bilateral trade and investment between the two countries.
