Bangladesh 387/6 at lunch on day 2 in second Test

DHAKA, Dec 1, 2018 (BSS)- Bangladesh lost one wicket in the first session
of the second day as they reached 387 for 6 at lunch in the second and final
Test of the series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur on
Saturday.

The host added 128 runs in the first session with their overnight score
at 259 losing one wicket.

Shakib continued on from with his overnight score of 55 and picked up runs
quickly this morning. He and Mahmudullah Riyad involved in a 111-run sixth-
wicket stand before Roach broke the important partnership removing Shakib.

The left handed batsman Shakib composed a responsible 80 runs off 139
balls laced with six boundaries before giving an easy catch to Shai Hope.

After Shakib and Shadman Islam Mahmudullah and Liton Das also completed h
half centuries and stayed on the crease with 75 and 53 runs respectively as
the umpire removed the bails for lunch break.

Kemar Roach and Devendra Bishoo claimed two Bangladesh’s wickets conceding
57 and 98 runs respectively.
