BNP wants to make election questionable: Qamrul
DHAKA, Nov 30, 2018 (BSS) – Food Minister Advocate M Qamrul Islam today said BNP wants to make the election questionable as they would not be able to win in the next national polls.
“BNP knows that they can’t win the next election. So, they have started hatching conspiracies to foil the polls,” he said while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion of Awami League’s election coordination committee for the Dhaka-2 at the Keraniganj upazila.
Qamrul said the whole nation is waiting for a neutral election, so the next general election would be free and fair.
He urged all to be aware for avoiding any unexpected situation as BNP is trying to create unrest to spoil the peaceful environment of the election.
He said BNP leader Nazrul Islam Khan has insulted the freedom fighter by saying that there are freedom fighters in the Jamaat.
Among others, convener of the election coordination committee Shaful Azam Khan Barku and member secretary Yousuf Ali Chowdhury Selim were present on the occasion.
