Two people killed in Rajshahi road accidents
RAJSHAHI, Nov 30, 2018 (BSS) – Two persons including an octogenarian woman
were killed in two separate road accidents in the district today, police
said.
The deceased persons were identified as Rahima Begum, 80, and Akbar Ali,
48.
Quoting locals’ police said Rahima Begum died on the spot when a trolley
knocked her down at Pathakata area under Tanore upazila in the district at
about 7.30 am.
On the other hand, Akbar Ali sustained grievous injuries when a microbus
dashed his bicycle at Keshorehat area under Mohanpur upazila at about 9 am.
He was immediately rushed to Upazila Health Complex where the attending
doctors declared him dead, said Abul Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Mohanpur
Police Station.
