RANGPUR, Nov 29, 2018 (BSS) – Mayor of Rangpur Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa today directed the officials concerned for proper monitoring to complete ongoing infrastructural development works timely ensuring transparency and accountability.
Mostafa gave the directives while presiding over the regular monthly meeting of Rangpur City Corporation (RpCC) held at its conference room in the city.
All city councilors, officials and employees of RpCC attended the meeting.
Secretary of RpCC Abu Saleh Md Musa Jongi, Panel City Mayors Shamsul Haque and Mahmudur Rahman Titu, City Councilors Sekendar Ali, Nasima Akhter, Ferdousi Begum, Farida Begum and Nazmun Nahar, among others, addressed.
The speakers stressed on better coordination among the City Councilors, engineers, officials, employees, contractors and all concerned for smooth and timely implementation of all ongoing infrastructural development works in the city.
Abu Saleh Md Musa Jongi suggested all to work unitedly for building an eco-friendly, well planned, modern and beautiful Rangpur city with eye-catching looks all -around having all civic facilities.
Mayor Mostafa directed all concerned to complete the infrastructural development works timely maintaining the best quality of construction works to turn Rangpur into one of the most beautiful cities in the country.
