ANNISUL-REMEMBRANCE-MEETING
FBCCI remembers its former President Annisul Huq
DHAKA, Nov 29, 2018 (BSS) – The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) today held a remembrance meeting and doa mahfil remembering its former President and former Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation Annisul Huq.
FBCCI President Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, Senior Vice President Sheikh Fazle Fahim, and directors attended the program held at its conference center.
Former FBCCI Presidents Mahbubur Rahman, Mir Nasir Hossain, AK Azad, Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed and former Vice Presidents of FBCCI also attended, said a press release.
Family members of late Annisul Huq were also present.
Business leaders at the program offered munajat seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Annisul Huq. They highlighted the valued contributions and successes of Annisul Huq as the city mayor.
Annisul Huq, who was undergoing treatment at a hospital in London, died on November 30 last year. He served as the leader of the private sector of the country during 2008-2010. He was also the President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) in 2010-2012.
