AL leader Abul Bsshor Ansari passes away

DHAKA, Nov 29, 2018 (BSS) – Activist of anti-British movement, Sunamganj Awami League (AL) leader and organizer of liberation war, Abul Bsshor Ansari died of cancer at Hackney Homerton Hospital in London, UK on November 27 (Tuesday).

He was 92, family sources said.

Ansari left behind his wife, three sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.

Abul Bashar Ansari, popularly known as ‘Bashar Miah of Bongaon’ was born on Jan 1, 1927 at Bongaon, Jagannathpur under Sunamganj district.

His body will be brought back home from London and he would be buried next to his mother’s grave at Sylhet.
