DHAKA, Nov 28, 2018 (BSS) – Jatiya Party secretary general ABM Ruhul Amin Hawlader here today said their chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad is now in good health.
“He is now at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for regular treatment and likely to return home within one or two days,” he said while replying to the queries of newsmen during a press briefing at Jatiya Party Chairman’s Banani office.
Ruhul Amin said HM Ershad has been receiving treatment in a Singapore hospital for long but at this current situation he does not need to go there.
The Jatiya Party chairman was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday morning as he fell sick, Ruhul Amin said.
In another query, Jatiya Party secretary general informed that their party has distributed nomination letters to 220 candidates so far.
Dismissing any kind of controversy in the grand alliance, he said that Jatiya Party would take part in the election as a component of the grand alliance.
The final list of the grand alliance aspirants will be made public on December 9, the last date for withdrawal of nomination papers.
Rangpur City Corporation Mayor Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa, Jatiya Party presidium member Foysal Chisty and other leaders of the party were present at the press conference.
