England win toss go for second Women’s World T20 title

NORTH SOUND, Antigua and Barbuda, Nov 25, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – England captain
Heather Knight won the toss and chose to bat first against Australia in the
final of the Women’s World T20 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua
on Saturday.

Both teams are unchanged from the sides which enjoyed comfortable semi-
final victories at the same venue on Thursday. Australia ended the hopes of
hosts and defending champions West Indies by a 71-run margin while England
cruised past India by eight wickets.

England are seeking to lift the title for second time, having been crowned
inaugural champions in 2009. Australia are in pursuit of a fourth crown after
completing a hat-trick of successes between 2010 and 2014.
