EED engineers asked to end construction of educational institutions

RANGPUR, Nov 24, 2018 (BSS) – Engineers of the Education Engineering Department (EED) have been directed to complete the construction works of the educational institutions timely with transparency and accountability in the process and ensuring the best quality.

Project Director of the ‘Vertical extension project of selected nongovernment secondary schools’ and Superintending Engineer of the EED Engineer Mrs Bulbul Akhter gave the directive at a view-exchange cum assessment meeting on the development activities at Parjatan Motel here today.

All Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers and Sub-assistant Engineers from Rangpur, Kurigram, Panchagarh, Dinajpur and Bogra zones of the EED took part in the meeting.

Executive Engineer for Bogra Zone of the EED Engineer Altaf Hossain presided over the meeting, coordinated by its Sub-Assistant Engineer for Rangpur Zone Md Abu Taher.

Moderated by Assistant Engineer of the EED for Rangpur Zone Engineer Sirajul Islam, its Executive Engineers Minhajul Haque for Panchagarh, Shahajahan Ali for Kurigram Zone and Zahedul Karim for Dinajpur Zone, among others, addressed the meeting.

The Executive Engineers of different zones elaborately discussed the progress of the ongoing construction works being implemented at different nongovernment secondary level educational institutions under their respective zones in the region.

Bulbul Akhter directed the engineers to strictly follow the building codes, other rules, policies and regulations in implementing the construction works of educational institutions to enhance academic facilities and congenial atmosphere for education.
