DMP files 3,718 cases for traffic rule violation
DHAKA, Nov 24, 2018 (BSS) – Traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan
Police (DMP) in their simultaneous drives on the city streets on Friday iled
3,718 cases against different modes of vehicles for traffic rule violation.
It also realized around Taka 29.31 lakh as fine for traffic rule
violation, said an official release.
Of the total cases, 395 cases were lodged for driving on wrong sides, 68
for using hydraulic horn, five for using hotter and beckon light and 20
others for using tinted glass.
Police filed 956 cases against motorcycles and seized 86 others for
violation of the traffic rules.
Traffic police has dumped 29 vehicles and wrecked 572 others.
