Two shot dead in southeastern France
PARIS, Nov 22,2018 (BSS/Xinhua)- Two young men were killed overnight in
the town of Martigues, southeastern France in a shooting linked to drug
trafficking gangs, according to local media.
At around 04:00 local time (0300 GMT) on Thursday, armed men opened fire
at the victims near a building in the southeastern French city, BFM TV news
channel reported.
They targeted two men aged 22 and 28 years old before running away, the
report added.
In a separate shooting also in southeastern France, a 19-year-old teenager
lost his life and four others were wounded late on Wednesday in a dispute
related to drug trafficking.
So far this year, 19 people were reported shot dead in similar incidents
in the region.
