BGB recover arms, ammo in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov. 21, 2018 (BSS) – Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB),
battalion-59, recovered a pistol, three magazines and six rounds of bullet
from frontier Batulpara area under Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj
district in the early hours of today.
BGB said acting on secret information, a patrol team of BGB from
Sonamasjid border out post conducted a raid at the aforesaid area at around
12:10 am and saw two persons coming from India but sensing the presence of
BGB they fled away leaving a bag. After searching the bag BGB found the arms
and ammunition.
The recovered arms and ammunition were deposited with Shibganj thana.
