Leathertech show begins tomorrow
DHAKA, Nov 21, 2018 (BSS) – The sixth edition of ‘Leathertech Bangladesh
2018’ will begin in the capital tomorrow aiming to bring global technology at
the doorsteps of the local industry to catalyse growth and modernise leather
industry.
ASK Trade and Exhibitions Private Limited is going to organise the three-
day trade fair at the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB).
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed is expected to inaugurate the trade show.
Concurrently, the second edition of the ‘Bangladesh Leather Footwear and
Leather Goods International Sourcing Show-2018’ will be arranged at the same
venue by the Leather Goods and Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters
Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB).
Over 300 exhibitors from 20 countries will showcase their finished
leather, machinery for manufacturing footwear and leather goods along with
components, dyes and chemicals, accessories and allied products.
The fair will help the leather sector showcase the latest technology and
finished leather, and develop compliance.
