JHENAIDAH, Nov 21, 2018 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a
Jama’atul Mujahedeen Bangladesh (JMB) member with banned Jihadi books and a
demi gun from Kaluhati area under Jhenaidah Sardar upazila of the district.
Commanding Officer of RAB-6 Hasan Emon Al Rajib said the arrested person
was identified as Akhtaruzzaman Elias Sagar, 21, son of Sarafat Hossain
Mandol of Kaluhati village under Jhinaidah sadar upazila.
Acting on a tip off, an operation team of the RAB-6 along with a bomb
disposal unit from Khulna raided the Kaluhati area around 5 am today and
arrested Sagar with jihadi books and a gun from a house, he said.
