MYMENSINGH, Nov 21, 2018 (BSS) – During the Tax Fair in Mymensingh over
Tk. 17 crore has been collected as income taxes.
Zonal Taxes Commissioner, Mymensingh Abul Mansur said a total of
21,222 tax payers submitted income tax return and 1,773 new tax payers have
received in Electronic Tax Identification Number (TIN) from the fair. Over 1
lakh 21 thousand peoples received tax related services in the fair.
NBR arranged the Income Tax Fair at the Gymnasium from 13 to 19 Nov
here.
Tax payers said they submitted returns and received TIN in short time
and without any harassment. They also thanked the NBR and Regional office for
their good management and all out cooperation.
On the other hand Zonal Tax Commissioner expressed satisfaction for the
presence of increasing number of taxpayers in the fair. He thanked the
taxpayers and concerned officials for their services and cooperation.
