Workshop on legal aid services held in Gaibandha
GAIBANDHA, Nov 20, 2018 (BSS)-Speakers at a workshop here on Monday said
journalists can play a vital role in reaching cost-free legal aid services to
extremely poor and distressed people at the grassroots to protect their
fundamental rights.
The speakers made the comment while addressing the workshop on ‘Role of the
Print and Electronic Media in Publicizing Govt. Legal Aid Services and Their
Success’
The District Legal Aid Committee (DLAC) organized the event in the
conference room of district judge court.
Committee chairman and District and Sessions Judge Rasheda Sultana
presided over the function.
A good number of journalists working with various media outlets
participated in the workshop.
Earlier, the district legal aid officer made a power point presentation on
the legal aid services conducted in the district till this month.
