Water levels of 19 rivers rise, 63 fall

DHAKA, Nov 19, 2018 (BSS) – Water levels in 19 river stations monitored by
Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 63 stations
recorded falls.

Among the 94 monitored water level stations, 10 stations have been
registered steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said here today.

All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger levels.

The Brahmaputra-Jamuna and the Ganges-Padma rivers are in falling trend
which may continue in next five days.

The major rivers of Upper Meghna basin are in falling trend, which may
continue in next 72 hours.
