PEC examinee dies in Ctg road accident
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 19, 2018 (BSS) – A schoolgirl was killed and another
injured in a road accident in Bandar Market area under Bandar police station
in the city this morning.
The deceased identified as Sumana Aktar, 12, daughter of Babar Uddin, was a
Primary Education Completion (PEC) candidate from Ghasful School. Injured
Pinky Akhtar, 12, is also a student of the same school.
Police said the accident took place when a battery run auto-rickshaw
knocked behind their rickshaw at about 9 am in Bandar Market of Port Colony
area on their way to take their PEC exams in Halishahor area, said Assistant
Sub Inspector CMCH police outpost.
They were taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where on
duty doctor declared Sumana Akter dead.
The condition of Pinky is stable.
