Skill enhancement for becoming successful entrepreneurs stressed

RANGPUR, Nov 19, 2018 (BSS) – Experts at a training programme have
stressed on enhancing skill of female students of different universities for
proper business planning to become successful entrepreneurs by exploring
their latent talents and capabilities.

They made these observations today at the launching ceremony of the two-day
‘Women Entrepreneurship Training’ programme on ‘Business Planning Boot Camp’
arranged for female students of Begum Rokeya University Rangpur (BRUR).

The Centre for Peace and Justice of BRAC University in association with Dr
Wazed Research and Training Institute (DWRTI) and assistance of the UN WOMEN
organised the training course at BRAC Learning Centre in the city.

The selected female students of DWRTI and 21 departments of BRUR are
participating in the training programme arranged for turning them into
successful entrepreneurs to promote women empowerment and build a peaceful
and prosperous Bangladesh.

Vice-chancellor of BRUR Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah formally
inaugurated the training course in the launching ceremony as the chief guest.

Entrepreneurship Specialist of the Centre for Peace and Justice of BRAC
University Pervin S Huda is conducting the two-day training programme as the
main resource person.

Programme Coordinator of the Centre for Peace and Justice of BRAC
University Nilufa Sultana and its Assistant Trainer Mohsena Ashraf are
conducting different sessions of the training programme as resource persons.

The chief guest urged the participants to take part in the training
programme attentively and acquire adequate knowledge and skills on business
planning to become successful entrepreneurs and attain self-reliance in
future for their empowerment.
