Singapore’s NODX to Chinese mainland decreases by 25.8 pct on year in
October

SINGAPORE, Nov. 17, 2018 (BSS/Xinhua) – Singapore’s non-oil domestic
exports to Chinese mainland decreased by 25.8 percent year on year in
October, compared to a 17.8 percent decrease for September.

In a breakdown, the electronic exports of Singapore to Chinese mainland
declined by 1.4 percent year on year, while the non-electronic exports went
down 31.7 percent year on year.

Among Singapore’s top ten NODX markets, Chinese mainland, as well as
China’s Taiwan and Malaysia, are the only three who saw Singapore’s NODX
decreased in October, according to a media release issued by a government
agency Enterprise Singapore on Friday.

The largest contributors to the city-state’s NODX increase among these
markets in October were the European Union, the United States and Japan.
