Primary terminal exams begin Sunday in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 16, 2018 (BSS)- Directorate of Primary Education (DPE),
Chattogram has completed all preparations to conduct the Terminal
examinations-2018 for students in the primary levels of general and madrasa
education in a free, fair and peaceful manner.
The exams will begin on Sunday.
This year, around 145,562 students of different general schools of the
district will sit for the exams through 346 examination centres under the
supervision of DPE Chattogram, said the officials.
Of the total participants, 67,200 are male and 78,560 are female students.
Nasrin Sultana, district primary education officer in Chattogram, said all
preparations have been completed to hold the examinations in a peaceful
manner of the district.
According to the direction of Education Ministry, she said all the center
heads asked to open the question papers before five minutes of the
examinations and all kinds of smartphone are prohibited into the examination
centers.
Besides, a total of 25,944 students of different madrasa education
institutes of the district will sit for the exams. Of the total participants,
13,925 are male and 12,019 are female students.
