Discussion on Betiara Shaheed Day tomorrow at JPC
DHAKA, Nov 16, 2018 (BSS) -Central Khelaghor Asar is organizing a discussion marking on the Betiara Shaheed Day at the VIP conference room at Jatiya Press Club (JPC) in the city at 4 pm tomorrow.
Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman will attend the discussion as the chief guest while Khelaghor Chairperson Professor Mahfuza Khanam will chair it, said a press release today.
Nine members of special guerrilla force comprising NAP-Student Union-Communist Party sacrificed their lives in a frontal fight at Betiara in Chauddagram upazila under Cumilla district against the Pakistani occupation forces in 1971.
The martyrs are Nizam Uddin Azad, Sirajum Muneer, M Shahidullah, Bashir Master, Abdul Kayum, Zahirul Huq Dudu, Awlad Hossain, Quader Miah and Safiullah.
