‘Female students should think of becoming successful entrepreneurs’

RANGPUR, Nov 14, 2018 (BSS) – Academicians at a training course today said female students of different universities should think of becoming successful entrepreneurs through exploring their talents and capabilities with sincere endeavors.

In a concluding function of two-day ‘Women Entrepreneurship Training’ on ‘Business Planning Boot Camp’ arranged for female students of Begum Rokeya University Rangpur (BRUR) in the city, they urged the female students to acquire academic knowledge and need-based and time-befitting skills for becoming successful entrepreneurs and earn empowerment to serve the nation in future.

The Centre for Peace and Justice of BRAC University in association with Dr Wazed Research and Training Institute (DWRTI) and assistance of the UN WOMEN organised the training course at BRAC Learning Centre in the city.

The female students of DWRTI and all 21 departments under six faculties of BRUR participated in the training programme arranged for promoting women empowerment and building a peaceful and prosperous Bangladesh.

Vice-chancellor of BRUR attended and addressed the concluding function as the chief guest. Entrepreneurship Specialist of the Centre for Peace and Justice of BRAC University Pervin S Huda conducted the two-day training programme as the main resource person.
