New radiotherapy machine launched service at CMCH
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 13, 2018 (BSS)- A new Cobalt60 cancer radiotherapy machine has been installed at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) on Tuesday to deliver advanced treatment for cancer patients.
City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin inaugurated the new cancer treatment device and launched the service at radiotherapy department around 1pm at CMCH.
Speaking at the occasion, the City Mayor requested the CMCH authority to give service more cheapest rate to the cancer patients.
CMCH Director Brig Gen Mohsen Uddin Ahmed, CMCH Vice-Principal Pradeep Kumar, Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA)-Chattogram President Dr Md Mujibul Huq, its General Secretary General Foisal Iqbal Chowdhury and Radiotherapy Surgeon Ali Asghar addressed, among others.
