DHAKA, Nov 13, 2018 (BSS) – Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed today said the upcoming national election would be free, fair and competitive with the participation of all political parties.

“The government has agreed to the constitutional and realistic demands of political alliances and parties and that is why all parties are doing their political activities in full swing,” he told reporters.

The minister talked to the journalists during a view exchange meeting with Norwegian Ambassador Sidsel Bleken at his secretariat office, said a press release.

The Awami League (AL) leader said the polls would be participatory and all election activities are going on peacefully but “the court will decide whether any convicted person would take part in the election”.
