Zimbabwe struggling 195 for 5 at tea on day 3 in 2nd Test

DHAKA, Nov 13, 2018 (BSS) – Taijul Islam continued to strike on Zimbabwe
innings picking up two more wickets as the visitors struggling at 195 for 5
at tea against Bangladesh on the third day of the second and final Test at
Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur on Tuesday.

Bangladesh pick up two more wickets after in the second session as
Zimbabwe lost Sean Williams and Sikandar Raza.

Taijul picked up his fourth wicket haul in the innings after the wicket of
Sikandar Raza for 0 after he sent back to Sean Williams for 11 making him
clean bowled.

Earlier, Zimbabwe went to lunch with 100 for 3 in the first session of the
day.

Taijul Islam was once again the wicket-taker as he forced Donald Tiripano
(8) into a forward defensive shot and managed to get the outside edge. Mehedi
Miraz took the catch at first slip as Zimbabwe are two down, having lost
captain Hamilton Masakadza on the first day to Taijul as well.

Brian Chari has looked good with bat completing his half century but
Mehidy Hasan struck on Zimbabwe innings dismissing Chari for 53 just before
the lunch break. Chari hit six boundaries and two over boundaries during his
128-ball stay on the crease before giving a simple catch to Mominul.

Brendon Taylor and Peter Moor were on the crease with 59 and 44 runs as
the umpire removed the bails for tea break.

Taijul Islam captured four Zimbabwean wickets conceding 72 runs while
Mehidy Hasan took one wicket for 36.

Zimbabwe still trailed by 327 runs and they have five wickets in hand
after Bangladesh declared their first innings at 522 for 7.
