One held with 16,000 yaba tablets in Ctg
CHATTTOGRAM, Nov 11, 2018 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)
arrested a bus helper with 16,000 pieces of yaba tablets from Dampara area
under city’s Pansliash than in the early hours of today.
The arrested bus assistant was identified as Mohammad Sohel, 26.
Masfukur Rahman, assistant director of RAB-7, said based on secret
information, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area around
4.45 am and seized 16,000 pieces of contraband yaba tablets concealed inside
box of a passengers bus.
RAB also detained the bus and legal action will be taken against the
detainees, he added.
