Army chief to leave Dhaka for UAE tomorrow
DHAKA, Nov 09, 2018 (BSS) – Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed will
leave Dhaka tomorrow on a three-day goodwill visit to the United Arab
Emirates (UAE).
During the visit, he will pay a courtesy call on the UAE’s Chief of Staff
of Armed Forces and Land Forces Commander, said an ISPR press release here
today.
Besides, General Aziz Ahmed will visit Al-Hamra Combat Training Centre
during the visit.
The bilateral relations and issues of training cooperation between Army of
Bangladesh and the UAE will be further strengthened with the visit of the
Army Chief to UAE.
General Aziz Ahmed is the first Bangladeshi Army Chief who will go on a
goodwill visit to the UAE at the invitation of the Armed Forces of the
country.
The Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh will return home on November 14.
