Workers Party hails EC for announcement of election schedule
DHAKA, Nov 09, 2018 (BSS) – Workers Party at its politburo meeting today
hailed the Election Commission (EC) for announcement of the 11th Jatiya
Sangsad (JS) polls schedule.
Party’s President Rashed Khan Menon chaired the meeting.
The party also asked the nominated candidates to collect nomination forms
and submit those to respective returning officers in due time, said a press
release.
On August 14, the Workers Party Parliamentary Board finalized the party
nominees through the interviews of nomination aspirants.
The party also called upon the 14-party alliance for reaching a consensus
immediately on parliamentary seat sharing.
