Two snatchers held with firearms in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 7, 2018 (BSS) – Members of Chattogram Metropolitan Police
(CMP) in a drive arrested two alleged snatchers with firearms from city’s
Mariners road area early today.
The arrested snatchers were identified as Zumman Hossain, 28, and Mohammad
Masud, 27.
Based on secrete information that a few snatchers snatched valuables from
the pedestrians in Mariners road area under Kotwali thana around 5 am.
As soon as police reached there, snatchers started firing on the law
enforcers making law enforcers compelled to take retaliation.
After the gun battle, the team arrested two injured snatchers with two-
country made LG guns, two cartridges and three knives from their possessions,
said a CMP press release.
A case was filed with Kotwali thana in this connection, said Jashim Uddin,
officer-in-Charge of Kotwali thana.
